2002 – 2012        Associate Professor (tenured), School of Cinematic Arts, University of Southern California.  Courses in Screenwriting and Directing, (writing the short film, the narrative feature, scene writing, adaptations, etc., Directing fundamentals, Super 8, 16mm, DV production, working with actors, mise-en-scene, advanced thesis film production, among others.)

1995 - 2002        Assistant Professor, School of Cinema-Television, University of Southern California.  Courses in screenwriting, directing and film production.

1992 – 1995        Senior Lecturer, School of Cinema-Television, University of Southern California.  Courses in screenwriting and film production.

1989 – 1992        Adjunct Professor, School of Cinema-Television, University of Southern California.  Courses in screenwriting and film production.

1988 – 98            Guest Lecturer, Summer Session, Columbia University School Of Arts & Sciences, Film Division.  Devised and taught graduate level film history and aesthetics courses (Including Genre studies – the Western, Film Noir, Romantic Comedy, International Cinema (the French New Wave, Neo-realism, New German Cinema, etc., Hitchcock, Ford, Welles, Leone, Tarkovksy.)

1987 – 89            Adjunct Professor, City University of New York - College of Staten Island.  Taught film history and aesthetics to undergrads.
